About TAP4601

  1. MINE was an end of year lease, as they were clearing out the 2013. Silver Titanium with Navi, Driver Assist. No moon roof, adaptive cruise, or park assist (I wound have like those features, but inventory was getting low. This was a lease and the incentives were $9K!! MSRP = $42905 Sale price = 40767 ($500 over invoice, including advertising fee ;-( Incentives = $9000 Financed amount = $32855, including TTL and lease admin fees. I might have been able to do better in some areas of the deal, but with 9K in incentives...who can complain (too much). Signed 2 year lease on 1/1/2014. In the NE, dealers moved quite a few units. I was working with my dealer to get a good configuration (in a color I liked) and units kept disappearing, so I think a number of people took advantage of the end of year incentives.
  2. Will do. Hopefully picking up the car tomorrow (if the plates get completed). Again, for what its worth, it's feedback. Overall the buying experience was pretty good.
  3. Thanks Jeff_H. I must have missed this on Edmunds. Glad to know this is/was a legit fee. Still...not showing this on the sticker contributes to the perception that dealers inflate their profits with hidden fees. For me it more of a transparency thing. Of course the automotive industry isn't exactly known for transparency on pricing...LOL
  4. Thanks Ashley! I'm pick up my car tomorrow (been waiting on plates). Looking forward to driving the new baby home!!
  5. Hi Ashley, It's great to see Ford participating on Forums of this nature!! I just leased a 2013 Fusion Energi. I was very pleases with the end of year incentives ;-). I did have one question (feedback really) about the advertising fee that wasn't disclosed until "signing time". First off, can you confirm that this is a legit charge that the deal incurs from Ford and not something they added? Assuming so, the feedback is that the optics on this fee is poor. First off, I'm not sure why Ford is breaking this cost out as a line item vs including it in the base pricing. Second the transparency around this fee is poor. As an educated buyer, I don't like finding out about fees like this when it is time to put pen to paper ;-) I think sites like Edmunds should be made aware of this fee, so that buyers don't get surprised. Third, I don't feel that Ford is doing enough to advertise the Fusion Energi, so paying this fee "feels wrong" when I had to do a lot of research to even decide on the Fusion Energi (e.g. I found you; You didn't find me). Anyway, this feedback is meant to be constructive. I know we are in 'early days' with EVs\PHEVs and I trust that this fee is not a model specific advertising fee. That said, since buying the FFE, I've seen a handful of Fusion ads and not one mention of the Energi. Happy New Year! I hope was can interact as questions come up (I pick-up my car on Wednesday). Very excited.
  6. Hi Everyone. I just joined after having finalized a lease on a 2013 Ford Fusion Energi. I'm in Boston. I found a really sweet end of year deal - $500 over invoice with $9K of incentives from Ford on a 2013 lease. Brought a $42,095 sticker down to $32K. Feeling pretty good about it. I got a Silver Titanium with Driver Assist and Navigation. Would have liked the adaptive cruise, but could find a unit with it in a color I liked. Hopefully others took advantage of the end of year deals too. Anyway, glad to be a part of the forum. Looking to learn more as this is my first PHEV.
