About jal142

  1. Yeah I think I have resigned myself to the fact that I am going to have to buy elsewhere. It is just frustrating that there is no transparency when it comes to dealer pricing. The cars seem to sit on the lot quite awhile down here but the dealers don't seem to mind.
  2. For some reason, the dealers down here are asking a lot more for these cars than anywhere else. On truecar, the average price in Florida is $1500 more than the national average. If I were to buy in Maryland I could save almost $3000. Anybody have any idea why this is? Are there regional incentives from Ford?
  3. How are you guys getting these massive discounts? I'm in Florida and the dealers are all starting the negotiations, at best, between MSRP and invoice. I know these cars aren't selling all that well down here - the dealer nearest me has had two 2014s on the lot for 6 months at least. They want to start negotiating above sticker (which may explain why the are sitting there...) I'd buy one today if I could get 6 or 7k off the MSRP....
