JEE7600 Posted August 1, 2023 at 07:08 PM Report Share Posted August 1, 2023 at 07:08 PM 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid 70k Miles The codes I got were P0562 System Voltage Low P0689 ECM PCM Power Relay Sense Circuit Low U0103 Lost Communication with GSM Battery Energy Control Module U3001 - Control Module Improper Shutdown U3003 - Battery Voltage U0401 - Invalid Data Received from ECM PCM Secondary OBD Control Module C P0887 - TCM Power Relay Control Circuit High P1A10 - Hybrid Power train Control Module - Battery Disabled U0104 - Lost Communication with Cruise Control Module U0298 - Lost Communication with DCDC A U0412 - Invalid Data Received from BECM A I replaced a 12V Battery and still get a service battery charging issue. I can still drive around but when I connect a jump box to the 12V battery you can see it runs between 12.4-11.6. I assume its the DC to DC Inverter? If I replace it does the new one need to be reprogrammed?
jsamp Posted August 3, 2023 at 04:52 AM Report Share Posted August 3, 2023 at 04:52 AM With many codes like that it's really hard to tell what the cause is. They tend to cascade like that. The "P1A10 - Hybrid Power train Control Module - Battery Disabled" stands out to me as it sounds like it has cut off the HVB all together, which means the DC-DC isn't getting any input. With the car on and the HVB working, you should get 14V+ at the battery from the DC-DC. When driving around is the ICE always on or does it still shut off and go into EV mode briefly? Good thing you are still under hybrid warranty. If it is the BECM that's expensive. Good luck.
