About jimsownfusionenergi

  1. My bad...I found the information earlier in the thread at the link provided by meyersnole.
  2. Can anyone provide detail on how to get this on scangauge II? X-Gauge?
  3. Well what do you know-- it finally happened today. Just like others, my range magically started reading correct and is updating again. 4 weeks and a day after the modem replacement. I did upgrade from Sync 3.6 to 3.8 this past Sunday and did pull the fuse one more time later that same day, but I have no indication that has anything to do with it beginning to work today, 5 days later. I'll find out tonight whether or not value charge settings recognize home location settings or if that is still broken.
  4. My upgrade was done on 12/15. While the connectivity and updates are much improved for me, everything else is a big disappointment. MFM does recognize locations including my only charging location (home), but it will not value charge even thought it says that it syncs. I still have to set default charging to value schedule to use value charging. MFM range is still stuck on 15 miles where it was when the upgrade took place.Trip logs are hit and miss and seem to be getting worse if anything. I've noticed that completion times are even inaccurate and sometimes show the exact time I login to get an update rather then when the trip actually ended. In general, data in trip logs are unreliable even for trips that MFM decides to capture.I did pull the fuse as suggested by Ford Team even thought I had zero confidence it would do anything. I left it out about 4 minutes to be sure. No dice. The only hope I see is that several have noted that after a few weeks functionality has magically come back. Come on Ford....figure this out.
  5. I was mistaken. My car did not actually figure it out. I was able to edit default value charge settings to get around the fact the my value charge settings for home are not recognized. I tried deleting saved locations (home) and then added it back after the next charge. No dice. Still relying on default value charge to control charging times at home. I only charge at home so is a decent workaround for me.
  6. Update on my modem upgrade which was done two days ago. My range in MFM is still stuck on 15 miles where it was when the new modem was installed. It appeared in MFM that my Value Charge was still good, but it was not really syncing to the car no matter how many times I tried. I deleted and set my home location back up, re-did the value charge schedule and though MFM showed it synced, the car would never show it and would start charging immediately upon plugging it in. Now two days later the car is finally showing and working on value settings. Still waiting to see it MFM range straightens itself out.....
  7. Got my modem upgrade today. I was in and out in about 1 1/2 hour and it seems no issues so far other than the common stuck EV Range in MFM. I'll let it go and see if it syncs soon like it appears to have for others. Getting status/updates in MFM prior the upgrade was hit and miss for me and so far it seems much better. I suspected poor AT&T 2G coverage. One note I'll add is that I asked my SA what they needed to tear apart to get to the modem. He slapped the side of the front console to show me where it was. I've seen a few mention this, but many have said it was under the rear deck. I questioned him and he said he quite sure. He then showed me the service manual on the computer showing diagrams of it. So unless he was wrong and the Trim guy that did the job did something other than that, I wonder if there may have been a change in location between model years??
