  1. Other than to check out the full charge of the battery. I have a 2017 and used to get about 25pme... now I get about 14. A little higher in the summer.
  2. Android Auto and Google Maps is the better way to go. MUCH cheaper.
  3. I have a strange issue with my camera lately on my 2017 FFE Titanium. When I go into reverse I get the camera, but once I go into drive, the camera stays on for about 10-15 seconds. It used to go off immediately and in my wife's Ford Edge, it also goes off immediately. Not a huge issue but just something I noticed.
  4. I think I'm glad I didn't update my modem. A lot of money for not much value. Although mine should have been covered but yet no one at Ford could tell exactly why mine wasn't. ?
  5. Good luck getting an answer. Roman hasn't been seen around here since Sept. 2021
  6. So last night I tried this, and I think I figured it out. It's simply a slight warning that your adaptive cruise control has been disabled. Especially since it highlights the car distance bars. I found out you don't have to actually accelerate. Simply hitting the cancel button while your cruise control is on will do it.
  7. You'd be better off asking this question in a Ford Escape forum. This forum is for Ford Fusion Energi owners.
  8. Highway miles is normally a good sign, however if the previous owner was not familiar with a PHEV, they may have charged it up fully, then hit the interstate at 70mph and drained the battery rather quickly. If this process were repeated over and over, it could affect the life of the battery and the EV mile range.
  9. Are you buying from an individual or a dealer? A dealer may have the vehicle's Car Fax you could ask to see. That seems like a lot of miles for a 2018 so depending on the price it may or may not be worth it.
  10. I've only used a dedicated circuit in one of my homes, because the existing circuit in my garage was also on the same circuit as my office that has a ton of computer equipment and other electronics. So I had a dedicated circuit installed in my garage. In my other three homes, I did not have a dedicated circuit and never had any issues. If you have 240V in your garage you should get a 240V charger and use it. I really didn't think the 240s were that hard to find.
  11. Glad to hear you survived. Sorry the other driver wasn't so lucky.
  12. At one time I had worked mine up to 42. I think I may have even posted a picture of it several years back. But I was basically tricking the system. I never actually got 42 miles on an electric charge. I would keep changing from EV to No EV at different times during my drive. Also using Low constantly. The number is basically a guestimate so don't take it too seriously.
  13. I'd replace that GFCI outlet as soon as possible. You're lucky it didn't cause a fire.
  14. Hmmm... I have a 17 as well but don't recall EV+. Where is that engaged?
  15. That didn't work either. But I tried in Firefox and it was able to play there. Chrome and Edge seem to have some issues.
  16. Weird... I just don't ever remember seeing my license plate. Nor did my wife. And we don't see her plate on her Edge's rear view camera. That's why I figured there might be some setting I had inadvertently changed.
  17. I've been a member hear for quite a while and don't recall seeing any posts related to my issue. However, I assume in the past discussion, there were no explanation or solution?
  18. I just noticed recently that when I am viewing my rear camera, I can actually see the very bottom of the license plate. I can't ever remember seeing this before. The camera itself seems tight and doesn't seemed to have moved. Is there some setting I may have inadvertently changed that would effect the cameras lens? Do anyone else see the bottom of their license plate through their rear view camera?
  19. I find the self parking feature very over-rated. I have it in my 2017 FFE and never use it. I have tried it and found I can parallel park on my own much quicker.
  20. Honestly I'm surprised it made it to 235K. ?
  21. I have a 2017 FFE. Over the last 2 years, the battery has taken a beating and I now get about 20-22 miles to a charge. Of course, in the winter, that drops down to 14. But I don't drive a lot and typically short trips so I still average a pretty high MPG per tank. If you can test drive the vehicle, have them fully charge it first and see what you end up getting.
  22. I have a 2017 FFE and am able to change these settings even though I have not upgraded to a 4G modem.
