  1. I am a little hypersensitive anytime after I have had service completed on my car. Recently I had the alignment checked/adjusted following a tire mishap. This may have been doing this since new but I am not 100% sure. Anyway, I am noticing that the car pulls to the right under medium to heavy acceleration and pulling to the left when medium to heavy regenerative braking. When it gets into friction braking I don't notice anything. I might be a little OCD when it comes to how my car is driving following major service. But I don't recall this happening previously. Has anyone else noticed this on their car? Thanks, Mark Ball Ground, GA
  2. I had the problem when the car was just new. Ford replaced and now coming up on three years old and no more issues with the ring light since that time.
  3. Most of the time when Ford gets involved its nothing more than lip service. They got involved with one of mine which was repeatable problems and the car was in the shop multiple times for the same "repeatable" problem. At the and of the day, Fords customer service involvement was nothing but BS and huge waste of my time. Certainly not the Ford company it use to be.
  4. I have tried it a couple of times. First time it got too close to the curb to suit me. The second time, it failed.. not sure why. In the areas where I live work and play there is just not all that much parallel parking. Most of the time, I just do it myself, manually. Perhaps I don't trust it. One problem is that idiots coming up behind you who KNOW you are trying to park pull up close enough to not let you backup to park. The key is getting in your spot quick when there is a gap in traffic. The automatic parking I find too slow. Manually I can pop into the spot much quicker and get out of the way of the rude drivers in Atlanta.
  5. You can find the updates on eBay for about $50. Buy the same update from Ford and you will pay $150. On eBay you can get two,for less, than the price of one from Ford!
  6. Just passed two years on my 2013. The auto reroute feature is non functional. I have tried auto and manual and to my knowledge it does not reroute EVER. I assumed it was just more misleading feature claims. I can drive our Jeep and it consistently changes based on traffic. Works well. Mark
  7. I currently have A4 and considering an update to A6. When we updated our Jeep, there were not only map updates but some other improvements. I was wondering if Ford updates anything or if they just update the maps and POIs? One thing that is very annoying is the over use of voice prompts on divided highways. When navigating and if you are on a divided highway, it constantly tells you to "go straight on..." At every place you can do a u-turn or turn left. This is extremely annoying with all the prompts basically telling you it to turn. Just tell me if I need to turn...if not, shut the heck up. Mark
  8. When I first tried playing the Google Play Music via bluetooth, I thought I was getting the album art, etc displayed. Recently, it does not. can anyone else share their experience with this and under what conditions they see the cover art displayed? Mark Ball Ground, GA
  9. I hope I am not going crazy but I sure thought that one of the display options showed a tachometer. Seems like it disappeared after I had the car in the shop for an update. Anyone else notice this? mark Ball Ground, GA
  10. Same problem trip to the dealer and they replaced the. Charge port with a new one.
  11. I use this same process with one change. If I am in the later mode and beginning a long stretch of downhill roadway, I will change to EV Now and regenerate going down the hill. Once back on level or uphill ground, I go back to the later mode.
  12. My charge ring lights burnt out on the bottom right quadrant. This was after the top left quadrant only works intermittently. When it seemed to start working again, the bottom right went out. Took in for service. The dealership said the charge port had to be replaced. The ordered the part and installed a few days later. So far it's working fine. I wonder if the bulbs are not replaceable forcing the, to replace the port. What happens when the warranty is gone? I also wonder why they didn't use LEDs fir the port lighting. Has anyone else had to have the charge port replaced?
  13. I took mine in three times for this problem. The plastic trI'm part number changed. The new version didn't stay any better I took it back again. This time, it seems to have been fixed.
  14. Should we dump these cars? Mine has been in the shop more in 12 months than my previous four vehicles combined. I was thinking at traiding in this buggy car before it dies. Are the 2015 better with less or no problems?
  15. I have now owned my Fusion Energy Titanium for 13 months. It has never rerouted me, ever. We drive our Jeep Grand Cherokee which uses the same service and it's not unusual to get rerouted once or twice a week at a minimum. It does seem that traffic information might be consider on Sync when initially building the route but beyond that, it does nothing that I can tell. Another note, The Jeep and the Fusion both use Traffic enabled Sirius. I have also noticed that traffic information is visible on a LOT more of the roads around Atlanta. The Fusion, just the interstate and the occasional state highway. Mark Atlanta
  16. I believe the factory disables the DRL intentionally on the Energy and Hybrid to save battery power.
  17. I have learned through trial and error that hill assist does re-generate more aggressively. Another thing I noted using the feature In the East Tennessee mountains it did a great job of maintaining speed and regeneration to a point. If the hill assist can't maintain speed, I noticed it actually starts using the HVB to place additional resistance by applying power to the electric motor to increase drag. I proved this by observing the KV power in the empower screen also the percent charged i could see the charge level start going down. Slowing the car slightly with the brakes and the system went back to regenerating the battery.
  18. Interestingly syncmyride states there is a new update out there. It shows DA5T-14D544-BD Gen2 - V3.6.2 as the download. However, when you download, it downloads version V3.6.1. I. The site also shows me as having V3.6.1 installed. Ford needs to get it together and make sure the site is working and update to date. Very frustrating.
  19. Does the HD radio in the limited process and receive AM HD Radio? In my previous vehicle with HD radio it would pick up HD on AM if the station was broadcasting it. The problem in my area, I am too far out from our only AM station broadcasting in HD to test it. Mark
  20. The Blink chargers located at Khols in Alpharetta, GA are now turned off at night. You can't charge before 6AM. The police had started running off people at night but Khols told them to stop. But now, the chargers are turned off at night.
  21. It is $0.08 here in the mountains North of Atlanta. Mark
  22. Many charging locations such as Wallgreen, Khols, Kroger, etc. offer free charging while shopping. I believe Wallgreens has started charging and as far as I have seen, Kroger and Khol's is still free. As many of you may know, Blink has gone belly up and was purchased by Car Charging Group. Blink charged $1.00 per hour if not free depending on the location. Here are the rates posted on Car Charging Group's website. I can only assume that the Blink rates will be changed to match Car Chargng rates: CarCharging station rates: Rates vary by location. Please check specific station rates on our station map. Per kilowatt hour: Only $0.49 per KWh. No minimum energy or time requirements, so plug-in and fill up. Once your EV is completely charged, please move your car so that the next EV owner can use our service. Per hour: $2.49 – 2.99 per hour with a minimum of one hour required. Rates for all other stations included on the ChargePoint network are set by the owner of the individual station. Please read the information for the specific station as it states the costs associated for a charging session. Clearly, you can see that it is far far less expensive to just charge at home and buy gasoline. Plugging in any of this company's stations makes no sense if you are trying to control your costs.
  23. I don't see two circles. Also, there is a circle that constantly blinks surrounding the car icon. Is that what you are talking about? I wish I could turn that off. The constant blinking is annoying.
  24. I will be happy to. So far, duplicating it when I am in a position to track it down is difficult at nest..
  25. Okay, I have a "buzzing" rattle that sounds like console parts rattling. My rattle is coming from the area between the navigation screen and the gear shift. I have not quite found it but it drives me nuts. Mark
