  1. That worked for changing the weekend charge time. Thank you. I charge at 3AM when it is cooler. I also have 2 electric bikes and their batteries live and are charged in the house. We are seeeing nighttime temps in the mid 70s and 80s now.
  2. My 2018 Fusion Energi will not allow me to set a weekend value charge time. I live in the Phoenix area and I set my car to charge at 3AM because it is cooler at that time. When I set the time and hit save and go back the times are zeroed out. The weekday schedule works fine, just the weekend one will not accept and remember the time I set. Suggestions... It is 108° in my garage right noow at 4:39PM It's 110° outside.
  3. I carry one it is small but says it will jump start a normal car. The 12VDC batt in your Fusion is only there to provide power to the electronics so any reasonable 12VDC source will do the trick. My 2013 Fusion would run the battery down is a couple of days even if the car was plugged in. My 2018 Fusion does not do that.
  4. Thanks. I guess I need to go kick some dealer ass since I paid cash for the car...
  5. Can anyone tell me what this is.It lit up once for a few seconds.
  6. WIth the excellent help of AAA Car buyimg I traded my 2013 Fusion Energi in for a 2018 Fusion Energi. Why you might ask? Reasonable question. Because I wanted a new car and because I can. I loved my 2013 it was the best car I have ever purchased until now. Oh and there have been many new cars in my garage. My 2018 came with just about everything except a moon roof and universal garage door opener. Here in Arizona, a moon roof is just an unwanted heat source and I will suffer through the lack of the universal garage door opener. Cooled seats, sounds silly, but in AZ... Nice. Synch 3, Wow options galor. I have spent 2 days studying the owners manual and playing with it. One question. Option of 'Switch Inhibit', On or Off. Nowhere that I can find anything that describes what 'Switch Inhibit' is? My 2018 is really a beautiful metalic gold and is actually faster off the starting line than the 2013 and like the 2013 comfortable and fun to drive. I kind of equate buying this car with upgrading an iPhone. In that it is increamentally better and, well newer. I feel a Fall road trip is in order... Maybe up US395
  7. I have had my battery replaced once and now the new one is down to 12.2 volts. I think its pretty simple, the battery is not getting charged properly. With the car sitting in the garage, pluged in I should not be seeing 12.2 volts from the battery. One more thing. After the battery was replaced the car once again started reporting to Ford. After about 6 weeks it stopped doing so. Actually I'm OK with that.
  8. I live in Arizona and last summer I turned on my heated seats by mistake. Belive me they work. I think I was medium rare before I got them shut off.
  9. Even if the cord is cut in half it can be repaired. At worst it will be a little shorter.
  10. I received my check today. Thank you Ford. Question. Do you think GM would ever do something like this voluntarily? I'm going to send this little windfall back to Ford by using it to purchase Ford stock.
  11. I live in Arizona and my garage gets up to 125 in the afternoon. I have my Energi plugged in everyday and it has worked just fine. Yes the fans in the car do run. I did insulate my garage door and that helped a little but it is still darn toastie in there.
  12. Has anyone found a good trunk organizer for the energi? Or a cooler that just happens fit nicely.
  13. Mine does that all the time. I think it is the shutters or a fan winding down. I think of it as the shuttle has landed system shutting down
